Alex Holmes was leading Lapin Vadym by 1 point at the end of the 7th round, but missed his win, placing 2nd place in Masters. We appreciate Joe McDaniel's contribution to the tournament. Tennessee Checkers Association is fortunate to have the Gene Lindsay & Leonard Hickman Funds. We also appreciate Larry Keen as organizer/director and his son Randy Keen & Jerry Askins as scorekeepers.  Larry also treated players to a Friday evening pizza party. There was a total of $3,750 prize funds; split $2,100 for Masters and $1,650 to the Majors/Minors. TCA awarded the highest finishing TN Master player a $100 bonus to Anthony Bishop and $50 to Ken Christian as the TN Majors Champion.
